While Cult of the Lamb isn’t far behind, Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered is off to a great start on the PC.

The PC version of Insomniac’s PlayStation exclusive was just released, and it has already surpassed God of War as the second-highest concurrent peak for PlayStation Studios on Steam.

Its all-time peak of 66,436 players makes it the studio’s second-largest PC launch, trailing only God of War’s 73,529 players. Right now, it’s the most popular game on Steam.

Cult of the Lamb, which is currently selling well, is the game that comes in at number two.

Its concurrent peak of 61,780 players is comparable to Stray’s 62,963, one of the year’s biggest indie hits. Cult of the Lamb is also very well-liked on Twitch. Prior to Dead by Daylight, Dota 2, and Fortnite, it is currently among the top ten most watched channels.

Twitch tracker SullyGnome reports that in less than a week it has had 89,181 hours stream by 18,765 streamers.

The Twitch integration, which enables viewers to enter a raffle for streamers to name their cultists after viewers and influence the game with channel points, is partly responsible for that success.

In a thorough technical review of Spider-Man Remastered, Digital Foundry claims that the port was flawlessly executed.

In his review, Donlan praised Cult of the Lamb. It’s complicated in some ways, and you spend a lot of time herding cats, to use a lovely vivid cliche, but in reality, you’re working to make people happy. The only distinction is that as a cult leader, you can cook and eat them if they don’t smile when you expect them to.
