While Snoop Dogg’s return to Call of Duty as a new Operator in CoD Mobile, Vanguard, and Warzone should be a net positive, handheld players are enraged by the price disparity between PC and console versions.

Snoop Dogg is set to make a big comeback in the Call of Duty franchise almost a decade after his first appearance. Snoop has his own unique bundles coming out in three different titles this April.

Players from Warzone, Vanguard, and CoD Mobile can all join in the fun and play as none other than the Doggfather in multiplayer action. However, while CoD Mobile gets the exclusive cosmetic first, things don’t quite line up across the board.

Not only do handheld players get a different Snoop Dogg skin, but they also don’t get the full set of exclusive cosmetics. To add to the confusion, CoD Mobile has its own method of unlocking the themed items, which could end up being far more expensive in the long run.

Snoop’s return to the Call of Duty series begins on April 1st. CoD Mobile players can use the Lucky Draw system to get a unique Snoop Dogg Operator skin starting today. Those who want to get their hands on the new design must first spin the RNG wheel.

This could theoretically result in players spending significantly more than those on console and PC.

If you keep getting unlucky, your only option is to keep spending in the hopes of landing on the Snoop Dogg skin through the Lucky Draw.

In comparison to the Vanguard and Warzone bundles, Snoop’s Operator is only available as a one-time purchase.

In comparison to the lone CoD Mobile skin and its accompanying SMG Blueprint, these bundles include a larger amount of content. On console and PC, players will receive a total of ten Snoop-themed items. In addition, using the new skin in Vanguard unlocks a 20-level reward track.

Players can unlock an additional three alternate outfits and other Snoop Dogg cosmetics by progressing through 20 levels of progression, similar to most highlighted operators in Vanguard.

The CoD Mobile community was left fuming just hours after the big reveal due to the vast differences in not only price, but also content.

The 2021 Saw bundle, which had its fair share of backlash, wasn’t the first time there was a disparity between platforms. Fans were irritated by the “stupidly high” costs of cosmetics, which were also locked behind the Lucky Draw system.

With Snoop Dogg’s bundle, the “greedy” trend continues, though CoD Mobile players won’t even get the same content as Vanguard and Warzone players.

Activision has yet to respond to the backlash, so only time will tell if the game’s release date is pushed back.
