WHAT MOUSE DOES SHAHZAM USE?

ShahZam uses a Logitech G703 Hero (Lightspeed) mouse. ShahZam’s gaming setup includes the G703 wireless gaming mouse that now contains a Hero 25K optical sensor, as opposed to the 16K senor found in the previous models. The 25K sensor provides a 100-25,600DPI range that can be set in increments of 50, with the potential to store up to four DPI profiles on the mouse itself. It has a maximum acceleration of 40G and a maximum tracking speed of 400 IPS. In order to improve its responsiveness further, its right and left clickers are set on metal-spring button tensioning.

It is designed for right-handed users both in shape and in its button placement, as the side buttons are located o the right-thumb side. WHAT HEADSET DOES SHAHZAM USE?

HyperX Cloud II streaming headset

ShahZam uses a HyperX Cloud II headset. The HyperX Cloud II is an upgraded version of the original HyperX Cloud headset. Its 53mm neodymium drivers produces a frequency response range of 15 – 25,000Hz at a sensitivity of 98±3dB and an impedance of 60Ω.

It is constructed from solid aluminum with a leatherette-padded adjustable headband. It also comes with two sets of interchangeable ear pads. One is a leatherette-covered memory foam set, while the other is a velour set.

Its condenser microphone is detachable and has a noise-cancelling effect thanks to its unidirectional polar pattern. It offers a frequency response range of 50-18,000Hz that is almost double the average range of a headset mic. It operates at a nominal impedance of 2.2kΩ and a sensitivity of -39±3dB. ShahZam uses a Shure SM7B microphone. The Shure SM7B is possibly the most popular microphone among streamers, with other user including GreekGodX, Destroy and Diegosaurs. This dynamic microphone has a unidirectional polar pattern that inputs at an end-address. This has a noise-cancelling effect, as it picks up frontal inputs, while barely registering inputs from the side or back of the device. To further enhance the audio output, it also has an internal shock mount to stifle bump and knock sounds, as well as an internal pop-filter to stifle mouth plosive sounds. Its external, removable windshield and presence boost button and high press-filter switch are also useful tools.
