The interactive game show from Frederator Media gives contestants audience prompts and challenges; the digital event will raise money for ‘Feed the Children,’ with viewers able to donate through a Twitch link.
Season 2 of Frederator Media’s interactive game show Cartoon Punch has debuted. The show will be live-streamed on the front page on the Channel Frederator Network Twitch account on January 14-15, 2022 at 8-9 pm EST, and created by Channel Frederator Network members 8 Bit Ultra, Ivan Animated, and Getmadz.
The show, which combines art, creativity, and zaniness, features 8 contestants, including fan favorites Haminations, CircletoonsHD, Gingerpale, and others, competing in a series of insane games, including:
Trash Fight: Players are thrown into the middle of an apocalypse and must build a powerful weapon to fight raiders. You and a teammate will have to create a random weapon out of three trash materials chosen at random.
Monster’s Lab: Members of the team have been given the task of creating a monster to unleash on the village. The head and arms will be designed by one team member, while the legs and torso will be designed by the other. The team with the best monster type design wins!
Contestants will receive prompts and hindrances from the audience as the games are played. Each game will require both teams to spin a wheel and overcome an obstacle, such as drawing with your non-dominant hand or drawing while being pied in the face.
Cartoon Punch was supposed to debut as a live, in-person event, with Frederator Media collaborating with Northern Arena, Canada’s eSports leader. Due to the pandemic, it was first broadcast to a digital audience, allowing creators and fans from all over the world to watch the livestream.
For this digital event, Frederator has partnered with Feed the Children, and will donate 100% of the proceeds raised to this cause. The game’s challenges will drive donations, and viewers will be able to donate directly through a Twitch link.
