After Nate Hill accused fellow Twitch streamer xQc’s fan base of spamming his channel, Pokimane came to his friend’s defense.
Following his performance at the 2021 Game Awards, Nate Hill of FaZe Clan referred to Felix ‘xQc’ Lengyel‘s viewers as “scumbag losers” for allegedly harassing his stream.
Imane ‘Pokimane’ Anys defended the Canadian Twitch star and his audience in response to the heated rant. Hill made a mistake by “generalizing” his fanbase, according to the creator of OfflineTV.
Pokimane reacted to the viral Nate Hill clip during her December 13th broadcast, explaining why she doesn’t agree with it. They are not scum human beings, Pokimane told xQc viewers. It doesn’t make them a bad person just because they watch X.
Pokimane chastised Hill for making broad generalizations, then added that while people who went to Nate Hill’s channel and did that aren’t nice people, they can’t say that just because someone watches xQc, they are automatically a scumbag.
Pokimane was even more perplexed after watching xQc’s Game Awards broadcast because the streamer never said anything and then defended xQc as someone who wouldn’t harass others with his chat and also told her viewers that she was perplexed by the way Nate Hill phrased his video, believing he was implying that he “wanted to punch” xQc in the nose.
The OfflineTV star addressed it at the end of her rant, saying that if xQc meant it, he’ll feel like saying they want to punch another streamer in the nose is against Twitch TOS.
