Poker Streamers Origins: The onlline poker boom started when Chris Moneymaker turned $40 into 2.5 million dollars. He sattelited into the main event on Pokerstars. This began what is called as the “Moneymaker Effect”. Jason Summerville was the first to take poker to the Twitch stream. He was the pioneer in growing the Twitch poker category. We have seen others come and join the Twitch Poker Streaming Family and take the lead in growing the category, including Lex Veldhuis, Tonkaaap. Jeff Gross, Spraggy as well as many others.
