Pokemon Unite recently announced the release date of Pokemon MOBA that is coming on Wednesday, September 22nd but users and players can now pre-register.
The release date of Pokemon MOBA has recently been revealed.
Pokemon Unite was launched last July and now, a mobile version of it will be out in September. The announcement was made on the official Twitter account of Pokemon as it notes that eager players can now pre-register to the iOS App store and Android Play Store for them to get some exclusive extras. Also, given how intense the game’s microtransactions are, any head-start is truly helpful and if there are enough pre-registrations, users and players will be able to play as Pikachu and get a chance to get a bonus costume called Holloware for free.
Also Pokemon Unite will offer cross-play between Nintendo and Mobile players and it will also allow players to link their Nintendo account between console and smartphone versions to carry over unlocked, cosmetics, item, currencies, and Pokemon.
Many are not surprised that Pokemon Unite would venture into MOBA after the game Pokemon Go has amassed $2 million downloads before and continues to rake in revenue making more than $52 million in the month of July alone.
The polish of Pokemon Unite was already experienced by the Nintendo Switch players. The games was created in partnership with TiMi Studio Group that made the MOBA version of Call of Duty: Mobile and Honors of Kings where both games topped the mobile revenue charts since it was released last year. Wherein Honors of Kings made a massive amount of $231.2 million.
Pokemon Unite players are expected to switch to smartphones when it is released on September 22nd knowing that it is free.
The free-to-play Pokemon Unite will surely appeal to young and old players who have kept the long running franchise of Pokemon alive, its partners and Nintendo.
