After hitting Predator in the battle royale’s most recent season, Nick ‘NICKMERCS’ Kolcheff has confirmed his plans to join the Apex Legends pro circuit in 2022, and he’s already assembled a team.
The Twitch sensation has been toying with the idea of pursuing an Apex Legends pro career for some time, first bringing it up after hitting Predator late in Season 10.
NICKMERCS had not been committed to any Apex Legends pro plans until recently. He’s been eager to “give the ALGS a try,” and made it to the tournament’s third-round qualifiers last September, but for the most part, the FaZe streamer’s plan has remained a hazy one.
Now that he’s hit Pred for the second time, he’s going all-in.
During a December stream, the Twitch star revealed that he’ll be “getting on the grind” in the Apex Legends pro scene in 2022, and that he’s already formed a team.
NICKMERCS teased his Apex Legends pro plans, teasing that he and his competitive squad is already two-thirds set, and that their road to the big leagues will most likely begin with qualifiers in February.
