Former Apex Legends pro player Jack Martin AKA NiceWigg was recently announced as 100 Thieves‘ first dedicated content creator for Respawn’s battle royale on September 12th, 2021.
On September 12, the LA-based esports organization and lifestyle brand announced via Twitter that they had signed a deal with NiceWigg. He joins the organization as their first Apex Legends content creator, alongside other streamers, YouTubers, and social media influencers like BrookeAB, Fuslie, Valkyrae, and Yassuo.
The pro-turned-streamer has amassed over $20k in winnings, as well as a following of over 700k across Twitch, YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok. He was a former pro player for Counter Logic Gaming and an unsigned ALGS competitor.
Shortly after the game’s release in 2019, 100 Thieves fielded a competitive Apex Legends team, but the team disbanded in 2020, and the organization has remained absent from the Apex scene until Martin’s signing.
NiceWigg has joined 100T, which is led by former Call of Duty pro Nadeshot after collaborating with fellow streamer CouRage during Apex Legends’ most recent season, Emergence, which many of his fans interpreted as a sign of his impending addition to the organization.
