Natus Vincere recently released a documentary following CS:GO phenom Aleksandr ‘s1mple’ Kostyliev’s incredible five-year journey with the team.
S1mple is viewed differently by everyone. The Ukrainian prodigy has been a divisive figure throughout his career, regardless of what he does in the game. His maniacal desire to win and be the best has only grown stronger over time, and the demands he places on his teammates have caused tension in every team he has been a part of.
The premise of “s1mple formula,” a nearly two-hour-long documentary about the player’s rise to stardom, from his early beginnings as an emerging talent winning 1v1 competitions in Kyiv to his current status as one of the all-time greats fighting for top honors with NAVI, his team since 2016, is based on the various perspectives on s1mple.
In the documentary, Sentinels Valorant player Spencer Martin, who affectionately refers to s1mple as his “little brother,” NIP’s Nicolai Reedtz, AKA ‘dev1ce’ renowned esports analyst Duncan Shields AKA ‘Thorin, and many others provide valuable insight into the life and career of the Ukrainian prodigy.
NAVI has announced that on September 8 at 11 A.M. CT (5 p.m. BST), they will host a Twitch watch party for the documentary with the help of LA-based NFT trading startup DMarket.
Viewers who register will have the opportunity to win both virtual and physical prizes, including a NAVI jersey autographed by s1mple himself.
