World of Warcraft star Caroline ‘Naguura’ Forer, now works for Team Liquid as a content creator, made her name raiding for Method in the Race to World First scene, and she’s enjoying the challenge of WoW Shadowlands’ Sepulcher of the First Ones.
Some raids are simply built differently, as any experienced World of Warcraft player knows. While some bosses are simple to defeat, others will knock you out and leave you wondering not only what went wrong, but also why your monitor has a gaping hole in it.
Halondrus, for example, is one of the bosses who has made even the pros sweat during the WoW Shadowlands Sepulcher of the First Ones Race to World First.
While his successor, Rygelon, proved to be too easy for Echo, this crab-like monstrosity took over 350 pull attempts to bring down.
As the Race to World First heats up, with the end in sight, we asked Naguura, Team Liquid’s newest member, for his thoughts on how the 2022 edition of the classic tournament has breathed new life into WoW esports.
Naguura believes there are “pros and cons” to races lasting for long periods of time, as the race to dominate the Sepulcher of the First Ones continues to thrive at the time of writing.
She does point out, however, that super-powerful foes should not become the norm.
It’ll be interesting to see who emerges victorious as WoW’s best get closer to returning the Jailer to the depths of the Maw; although, we’re pretty sure we know who Naguura is rooting for!
