A popular Minecraft streamer and YouTuber Dream recently had a big day on December 10th when he won the coveted “Content Creator of the Year” award at The Game Awards 2021.
The 22-year-old streamer was overjoyed after narrowly defeating four other popular creators, including Fuslie, Gaules, Ibai, and The Grefg, to win the award for the first time.
Dream recently won the Streamy Award in the Gaming category at the 2021 Streamy Awards just two months ago, beating out some of YouTube’s biggest names like Mark Fischbach AKA ‘Markiplier’ and Jimmy Donaldson AKA ‘Mr. Beast’.
The founder of The Game Awards Geoff Keighley announced Dream as the winner of the Content Creator of the Year award, Twitter was flooded with congratulatory and appreciative tweets.
Many other Minecraft streamers, YouTubers, and content creators congratulated Dream on Twitter, including some of his own Dream SMP Minecraft server’s streamer friends. One of the first people to congratulate Dream was Minecraft streamer Thomas “TommyInnit” Simons. The former is an active member of the Dream SMP and has played an important role in the plot’s development. Dream and TommyInnit have worked together on a number of occasions to create Minecraft content and challenge videos.
One of the other nominees for Content Creator of the Year Ibai Llanos also congratulated Dream on his recent success, sending him a bilingual tweet with his best wishes. With over 8 million followers on Twitch, Ibai is one of the most popular streamers. In addition, he has over 7.3 million YouTube subscribers.
An up-and-coming streamer and YouTuber TinaKitten, also tweeted to Dream congratulating him on his win and expressing pride in his accomplishments. Tina is one of the most recent additions to the Dream SMP server, having joined in October 2021.
She is a member of the popular streamer group OfflineTV, and on September 15, 2021, she joined the esports organization 100Thieves.
In a tweet, popular Minecraft streamer Ranboo expressed his heartfelt congratulations to Dream, referring to him as a “teammate” and expressing his pride in him.
Ranboo is a member of the Dream SMP and has become one of the most well-known Minecraft streamers, with over 3.7 million YouTube subscribers and 4 million Twitch followers as of December 2021. Dream’s fans had a field day expressing their admiration for him.
Dream is one of the most popular Twitch streamers and YouTubers on the planet. He has certainly made a name for himself in the last two years, with over 27 million YouTube subscribers and 5.8 million Twitch followers.
