LuluLuvely has explained why she’s thinking about saying “farewell” to Apex Legends and quitting the game permanently, though she hasn’t made up her mind yet.
LuluLuvely is one of the most popular personalities in the Apex Legends community, with over 1.3 million Twitch followers and a dedicated fanbase who watch every single stream.
When you join Lulu’s stream, you can bet she’ll be wreaking havoc in the Outlands thanks to her incredible mechanics and accuracy with the powerful Kraber. Unfortunately, that may not be the case in the future, as she recently expressed a desire to leave Apex because she no longer enjoys the game.
Lulu has revealed that she is finally considering a “farewell” to Respawn’s battle royale, citing a lack of content and persistent issues. She took a break from Apex during her June 16 stream to speak directly to her chat about how she feels about the game’s current state.
Lulu surprised her viewers by revealing that she wants to attend the upcoming Apex LAN event, but that it will also be her “farewell” to Respawn’s battle royale, because Apex is her main Twitch game, quitting would be a big decision for her, and she admitted it would be difficult to “completely walk away.”
Naturally, this news prompted a flurry of inquiries from her chat about why she was no longer enjoying Apex. Lulu responded by saying that whether you’re playing PUBS or Ranked, the game feels like a “struggle” and that having fun is nearly impossible unless you’re in a pre-made group.
She also expressed her dissatisfaction with the lack of “content” and the broken custom lobbies, both of which contribute to her lack of motivation to play. As a full-time content creator, she even stated that Apex is bad “for business.”
Although the Apex community will be sad to see Lulu leave if she does decide to leave, it’s safe to say she’s not the only one who is fed up with the game’s current direction.
It’s clear that many players are dissatisfied with the core gameplay experience, with poor matchmaking affecting the overall balance of lobbies being the most common complaint.
Respawn may be considering solutions to this problem, or they risk losing players who have grown impatient while waiting for one.
