After two days, Ludwig prepared a video to address the drama with his friend Atrioc, who was discovered on stream using a browser tab for a deepfake porn website.
In the video, Ludwig made it abundantly clear that this problem isn’t about him or Atrioc—about it’s supporting women.
Ludwig acknowledged at the beginning of his 10-minute video on his Mogul Mail YouTube channel that he had never “felt pressured” to make a video before, adding that he had received criticism for taking his time to react. But Ludwig claimed that he has spent the most of the past few days assisting his girlfriend, QTCinderella, who works in streaming and has been impacted by this problem. Ludwg spent the most of his time promoting and projecting the voices of women in the streaming community because he felt that he personally had little to contribute to the discussion regarding deepfake porn, which involves sexualizing the likeness of women without their consent.
He said; “It didn’t feel like there was any other take to have than the one being expressed by all the women online.”
Tweets from Pokimane, Valkyrae, Sweet Anita, QTCinderella, BrookeAB, and Maya were shared by Ludwig. He also posted a Josie Simora post from Medium. Ludwig talked about the streamers’ apologies with Atrioc, but he didn’t show it because he thought it was unimportant in light of the remarks made by women. He further stated that Atrioc’s activities contributed more to the idea of deepfake porn being circulated.
He said; “Leaking it on stream caused a whole new world of harm because so many new people were exposed to this idea and then went out to seek what this idea was.”
Ludwig then displayed a Google Trends search for “deepfake porn,” which revealed a surge in activity around two days ago, right around the time that everything started to happen. In addition, Ludwig mentioned that many women, including QTCinderella, frequently pay “sometimes thousands, tens of thousands of dollars a month” for services to have sexualized images of them removed from the internet.
Finally, he appeared to have difficulty expressing how he felt about his longtime friend, Atrioc. Despite his mistakes, Ludwig made an effort to maintain optimism. Ludwig remarked, “I think he fucked up. I just hope from here he just takes all the steps and all the actions to make it better.”
