Lil Uzi Vert recently revealed new details about his infamous diamond piercing in his forehead, claiming that his insurance company tried to “cut him off” because of it.
The rapper revealed on the Twitch stream of Trainwreck’s Scuffed podcast that his insurance company tried to cut him off after he had a $24 million (£17.6 million) pink diamond pierced into his forehead in February.
He claimed that his insurance tried to cut him off, claiming that he was attempting suicide and that because they knew it was a piercing, they assumed he had just implanted a diamond in his head and was about to die.
He stated that everything is now in order, implying that the problem has been resolved.
Uzi stated that he had no idea the piercing would affect his insurance and that he had never even considered his insurance company before starting his life.
He had a diamond ripped out of his forehead in July after jumping into the crowd during the Rolling Loud Festival in Miami. Uzi confirmed that the diamond is still in his possession and that he has yet to have it implanted once more.
