The first annual edition of HyperX’s ‘Queued Up’ recently revealed the five streamers who fans chose to be up next, with ambitions to become the next big streaming stars. Queued Up will be back in 2022, and it will become a yearly tradition.
Queued Up has come to an end – at least for this year.
The worlds of content creation and streaming are now just as competitive as the music industry, with millions of people hoping to make a living off of it. Only a small percentage of those who apply will be chosen, but HyperX’s Queued Up could be the perfect opportunity for those up-and-coming creators to get the attention they deserve.
The 2021 class is made up of a diverse group of creators. Their following ranges from 50,000 to nearly 500,000, and their content covers a wide range of topics that viewers enjoy from streamers, including Apex Legends, Dead by Daylight, music, and cosplay.
The winners were announced via livestream, with the event taking place in Las Vegas. The broadcast, which was streamed on HyperX’s official Twitch channel, drew over 8,000 viewers – a huge start for Queued Up’s first year.
The future of the streamers are Cahlaflour, Yoojin, Krystalogy, tuonto, and Loughh and it is most important. It remains to be seen how their careers progress in the future, but they have all the potential in the world to achieve their goals.
HyperX on Twitter highlighted one of the best moments, demonstrating that ‘tuonto’ was hopeful of landing a sponsorship just a year ago. Along with the other four winners, he is now a HyperX ambassador. In addition, each of the five received a six-month paid contract with HyperX as well as a complete gaming setup overhaul.
When Queued Up returns in 2022, it’ll be interesting to look back on the previous year for the class of 2021, and see how many new faces make the cut for the following year.
Queued Up will continue to be run by HyperX for the foreseeable future, so check back next year to see who will be up next.
