The Call of Duty: Vanguard Beta is now available, allowing players to join the game early and try out various features. While the beta is mostly for the developers to test things out in preparation for launch, players are seeming to be unhappy because hackers have begun to arrive, causing the experience to be ruined.
There are so many things to try out in the early access with so many various maps, modes, and weapons. However, despite the fact that Vanguard is adding a new anti-cheat to Warzone, it appears that one will be required for Vanguard’s multiplayer. While the beta is only open for two weekends, Sledgehammer Games is receiving a lot of feedback from players on what needs to be fixed before the November 5th launch.
The appearance of hackers is one issue that has arisen. These cheaters come in a variety of shapes and sizes. Someone is already aimbotting and destroying everyone via walls in this Reddit film shared by ‘ukjoel333.’
Players are angry that hackers have already established themselves in the game and are concerned that things could run out of control. While this is inconvenient for some and ruins the experience for others, some people use their abilities in unique ways. One individual was seen with Damascus camouflage on his weapon. While it’s possible that this is a bug, players are doubtful that it’s just another hacker’s act.
Despite the fact that stats will be reset prior to the game’s launch, players are frustrated that they can’t relax and enjoy the game without cheaters.
So far, Sledgehammer Games has done its best to respond to concerns as quickly as possible and improve the players’ experience, so there’s reason to believe this won’t be a recurring problem.
