On July 5, 2022, Fortnite will release the v21.20 update, which will include some fresh No Sweat Summer content for players to enjoy.

Fortnite simply released some Creative challenges for XP after promoting the No Sweat Summer event. However, leaks indicate that new NPCs, cosmetics, and challenges with a summer theme will appear soon.

Nothing fits the theme of “vibin’,” which is the focus of Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3, better than a bustling summer festival. No Sweat Summer 2022, however, has so far only focused on the Firework Flare Gun and six Creative XP challenges. It is clear that this year’s No Sweat Summer event hasn’t satisfied the player base. Thankfully, Epic Games itself teased additional summer content, which will probably be included in the v21.20 or v21.30 updates.

Epic Games’ official post about the Island Hopper quests was leaked by iFireMonkey. Clearly, No Sweat Summer in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3 is not over with Island Hopper quests. However, not much is known at this time about the upcoming material. Epic Games will at the very least make Boardwalk Ruby, Summer Drift, and Unpeely available to players as NPCs on the island. Even though the return of these fan favorites is fantastic, Midsummer Midas and Summer Meowscles’ appearance will be the cherry on top.

Battle Royale modes will soon include challenges with a summer theme, according to iFireMonkey. It’s important to note that the creators started working on Surfboards with Chapter 3 Season 3 and that they will soon be back.

The aforementioned content should ideally be made available with Fortnite v21.20, which is scheduled to launch on July 6, 2022. Having said that, it is crucial to take into account that Epic Games’ staff will be on vacation from July 24 to August 12.

On July 19, 2022, Fortnite version 21.30 should be made available before this break. The 21.30 patch is anticipated to be the most content-rich update this season because Epic Games won’t be able to release hotfixes or other updates during the break.

Overall, loopers should have high expectations for the No Sweat Summer competition in 2022. While leakers have confirmed NPCs, challenges, and vehicles, Epic Games never misses a chance to profit from event-based cosmetics.

Fair enough, the creative maps for the Island Hopper quests are amusing and a welcome change from the sweltering Battle Royale modes.
