While popular twitch streamers like Asmongold, Shroud, and CouRage are exploring New World, gaming outlet Fextralife has received an unexpected Twitch award as a result of the MMO craze.
New World, Amazon Games’ MMO has been recently released to the public, to mainly positive reviews. And it has quickly risen through the ranks as Twitch streamers, large and small, have taken a love to the game, promising a vast, layered world for players to explore. Some of Twitch’s most popular streamers have seen a rise in viewing as a result of the new game’s anticipation, but it’s neither Asmongold or Shroud who are at the top of the most-watched rankings.
Fextralife, a gaming outlet, has unexpectedly jumped in front of some of the platform’s most well-known streamers. Fextralife has set their claim as the most-watched Twitch channel at the time of writing, owing to New World’s strong presence in the Twitch community. Fextralife has over 12.3 million hours of watch time under their belt, according to Sullygnome statistics dating back to the game’s debut, which puts them well ahead of the competition.
Shroud, who hasn’t done much else since the debut of New World, has just around 10 million hours watched. Gaules, a Brazilian CS:GO livestream, is in third place with about 8 million hours.
