The Ballerz Collective NFT mint marks one of the largest NFT drops ever, with four separate collections each containing 8,888 digital collectibles. Fan Controlled Football (FCF), the only professional sports league that empowers fans to make key decisions for their favorite team, including calling plays in real-time, today announced the Ballerz Collective NFT mint.

The Ballerz Collective is a one-of-a-kind NFT community that allows holders to choose and control one of four new NFT expansion teams joining FCF in Season v2.0.

FCF’s public mint will begin on February 5 at 6:00 p.m. EST on www.fcf.io/ballerzcollective.

Each team will receive 8,888 unique Ballerz Collective NFTs at a public sale price of 0.1776 ETH each. Follow the Ballerz Collective on Twitter and join the FCF Discord to join the team and get in on the action.

The Ballerz Collective from FCF is a group of NFT avatars with never-before-seen abilities. Holders will have access to FCF’s brand new, state-of-the-art venue at Pullman Yards in Atlanta, as well as team governance rights, play-to-earn game mechanics, and unique real-world access and VIP experiences.

FCF debuted in February 2021, with four teams led by Marshawn Lynch, Quavo, Richard Sherman, Austin Ekeler, Dalvin Cook, and Bob Menery, among others. By combining the competitiveness of live sports, the engagement of fantasy sports, and the interactivity of video games into a live streamed, leaned-in fan experience, the league has redefined football for the digital age. Season 1.0 saw FCF become Twitch’s fastest-growing live sports channel, with nearly 10 million total live views, and one of the most popular sports apps in the Apple App Store.

The Beasts, Glacier Boyz, Wild Aces, and Zappers were the four original FCF teams. After defeating the Glacier Boyz in “The People’s Championship” on a last-second, walk-off QB read-option touchdown called by the fans on March 20, the Wild Aces became the first-ever FCF Champions.

Fan Controlled Football (FCF) is the first league in professional sports history to empower fans to call the shots, from branding and personnel decisions to real-time play calling. It is the only professional sports league that combines the passion and competitiveness of live and fantasy sports with the interactivity of video games. The FCF is the democratization of sports, with Season v2.0 launching in the Spring of 2022 with eight (8) teams, seven regular-season weeks, and one playoff week, culminating in the People’s Championship.
