Popular Twitch streamer Esfand recently traveled to Los Angeles just one month before iDubbbz’s boxing event, Creator Clash, to train with several fighters for the event.
Following an injury to his potential opponent Chills, Esfand’s role was changed to that of a pre-fight interviewer. Esfand has already been featured in content surrounding the intense training ahead of Creator Clash as the fighters prepare for their bouts since joining the production team.
Michael Reeves, JustaMinx, AB, and the event’s host and main event fighter, iDubbbz, were among the fighters and creators who benefited from Esfand’s specialized boxing knowledge. With the bodysuit on, Esfand assumed the role of a human punching bag, standing up and taking all of the punches thrown at him.
Though Esfand may have had the best of intentions when coaching the Creator Clash competitors, his advice and form may not have been what the fighters had hoped for. For example, he advised iDubbbz to focus on the camera rather than his opponent, told AB to do the Stanky Legg, and told the fighters to close their eyes when punching.
Nonetheless, the Twitch streamer’s vlog provided invaluable insight into the preparations for the event. The sparring match near the end of Esfand’s time at the gym demonstrated how far AB and iDubbbz have come since they first started boxing.
Creator Clash, which will take place in Tampa Bay, Florida, will feature ten matches between a total of 18 fighters. The online and in-person events, which will take place on May 14, still have tickets available.
