Former Twitch streamer but now a Youtube star Dr Disrespect believes that he and Netflix should join forces to begin building a streaming empire.
After being permanently banned from Twitch mysteriously, Doc took a short break from streaming before moving to another platform which was Youtube. Having been streaming for a year, Dr Disrespect managed to be successful on the platform gaining a massive following on his channel. He doesn’t struggle to find a sizable audience wherever he goes and now, he’s thinking of a new streaming service beyond YouTube. While Doc is still streaming on YouTube, it seems like he’s keen on joining a Netflix streaming service.
Over the past few weeks, a lot of rumors have talked about the streaming platform’s plans to move into gaming.
Many believe that the platform might partner with PlayStation to release their own gaming service. Others believe that it’s just a marketing ploy to enhance the experience for viewers with Netflix’s various TV shows and movies. However, Dr Disrespect has noted they can’t find a better candidate to grow in the world of gaming than him. Recently, Dr Disrespect added fuel to the fire on the rumors about him having his own show on a streaming platform like Netflix.
During his recent stream, he addressed the speculation about this show. He has stated for a long time that he would love to do an endeavor like this, and Doc would be down to work with Netflix on this production. He also mentioned wanting to have a chat with the executives at Netflix to discuss details about his show. He said that he liked the platform, and he believes that there is potential for a show led by the Two-Time that can attract a massive gaming base for the platform.
Netflix is currently one of the most-subscribed video streaming services and it’s looking to get more into games. Dr Disrespect sees this as a great time for Netflix to launch its own game streaming service that would be boosted by name recognition and branding alone. Dr Disrespect believes that he and Netflix combining forces would create a game streaming empire that could seriously threaten Twitch.
