Dr. Disrespect recently teased his first game Midnight Society with a Discord bot and a series of hidden clues.
Former Twitch streamer Dr. Disrespect founded the game studio Midnight Society. The studio is developing a competitive and focused PVP shooter in Unreal Engine 5 but no further information has been released.
According to The Loadout, members of the Midnight Society discord have begun to uncover clues. Midnight Society sent out a tweet on January 1, 2022, that showed flickering data. One Discord user entered the information into the Midnight Society bot and discovered some clues. Users have been attempting to decipher other commands and keywords fed into the bot in order to gain more knowledge.
Annotated concept art has been discovered thus far. Every day, the website is updated with new clues that point to specific sectors. It’s also expected that the first 10,000 people who finish the cryptic clues will get early access to the game. Discord’s users will join the role Claws, and a command sent to the Midnight Society bot will result in early access granted to all 10,000 Variants upon Access Pass acquisition.
The Geeky Pastimes updates are provided on how the augmented reality game has progressed so far. Most recently, the discord bot has begun to run a game that players can participate in.
In other news, Ubisoft has confirmed that its Ubisoft+ subscription service will be coming to Xbox in the near future. However, no specific date has been set. This comes on the heels of the announcement that Rainbow Six Extraction will be available on Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass on day one.
