After deciding to expose a cheater using wall hacks in his Call of Duty: Vanguard match, eccentric YouTube streamer Dr Disrespect was left speechless.
Guy “Dr Disrespect” Beahm, a popular YouTube streamer, was left speechless when he decided to expose a wall hacker in a recent Call of Duty: Vanguard match. Vanguard is the next installment in Activision’s Call of Duty franchise which was released on November 5th and features a World War II-themed campaign.
Beahm, a former Sledgehammer Games developer who became a popular streaming personality, first gained fame playing FPS games like Call of Duty and PUBG on the live streaming platform Twitch. Dr Disrespect is best known for wearing a red tactical vest, sunglasses, black wig, and moustache as his signature look. During his time on Twitch, the Doc was considered one of the most popular streamers, but he was mysteriously banned from the platform in June 2020. While there have been many theories and claims about why Dr. Disrespect was banned, Beahm has not confirmed any of them, but he did say earlier this year that he knows why.
Dr Disrespect’s Vanguard match quickly went furious, when a cheater decided to join the game. As he waited for the game to start, the Doc happily listed some of his goals for the newly released FPS, stating that he needed to learn map layouts, sightlines, and callouts, according to a video posted by Twitter user WickedGoodGames. “I think today will be a good day,” he added, clearly upbeat, before being ushered into a Search and Destroy mode lobby. Dr Disrespect’s game was quickly over when a hacker used an exploit to hide inside a wall and score easy kills in the game mode in question, which only gives players one life per round with no respawns.
Dr Disrespect has previously spoken out against unfair gameplay, with the streamer recently losing his cool and breaking his controller following a Halo Infinite match. The Doc, on the other hand, was rendered speechless when he decided to expose the hacker by spectating them from behind a wall, watching them kill his opponents until the glitch caused the said cheater to fall through the floor. While the streamer remained silent about what he had just seen, his teammates were not so reserved, taunting the cheater with the phrase “that’s what you get…”
Given Dr Disrespect’s proclivity for speaking out on issues he encounters in games, it’s surprising that the wall hacker rendered the streamer speechless.
Although widespread cheating remains a problem in FPS games, cheaters in the recently released Vanguard are undoubtedly discouraging to those hoping for a break from hackers. Fortunately, RICOCHET, a kernel-level anti-cheating software that is specifically designed to target hackers, will be released soon for both Warzone and Vanguard.
