Dr Disrespect appears to have reached his Warzone breaking point, saying that he is “genuinely considering stopping” anything related to the Call of Duty battle royale — on or off stream — until Activision releases Vanguard’s new Tropics map.
Dr. Disrespect’s Warzone history is filled with rants and raves. The YouTuber has been suggesting ways to enhance the battle royale game since its introduction in mid-2019, dishing out bucketloads of roasts and rants, and even quitting the game on multiple times. The Doc has two complaints about Activision’s game: its “lackluster speed” and the unstoppable wave of Warzone cheaters swarming the battle royale. Dr Disrespect has previously spent time in Apex Legends, Overwatch, and Valorant due to these issues.
This time, though, it appears that the Doc will put down his CoD sticks for good, with the new Vanguard map being the only thing that might tempt him back.
Dr. Disrespect has a history of Warzone rants. In fact, he’s very certainly in the triple digits. However, they all came with his trademark over-the-top in-character tirades. The YouTuber, on the other hand, appeared burned out during his September 20 stream.
Here’s what he stated during his stream; “That’s it for me, man. Get me off this f**king game. Holy sh*t, what a snooze fest. I’m literally falling asleep… I don’t know if I can do this anymore. I am genuinely feeling like completely stopping until this new map comes out. I’m not getting anything from that map anymore, the gunplay, the gunfights. It’s all the same to me now. I just have no passion, no interest in playing a game designed for 11-year-olds. Either 11-year-olds or 85-year-old men. The game has turned into a joke at this point, and I’m just not into it.”
The release of the new Call of Duty Vanguard map, according to Dr Disrespect, could tempt him back to Warzone to grind once more. Early leaks of the next battle royale battleground have already received high praise from Doc who claims the upcoming Pacific battleground “feels like a PUBG map.” Doc saw similarities to the Sanhok map from the forerunner title, which was released in 2018, and said he’s excited to try it out.
