Gamers all over the country have been raising money for cancer research, with tens of thousands of dollars already raised through charity live streams.

For the past two weeks, the Game on Cancer campaign has been in full swing, with streamers jumping online to host live gaming events while raising money for the Cure Cancer charity.

Emily Dalton, known online as 1UpEmily, has been a Twitch streamer for years and says she has big plans for her upcoming event.

Dalton is streaming for the third time for Game on Cancer, having been personally affected by cancer.

You can help 1UpEmily raise money for Cure Cancer by tuning in to her Twitch stream on Wednesday at 7 p.m. AEST.

The celebration began on April 28th, National Superhero Day, and will conclude on May 11th.

Since its inception in 2019, streamers have raised over $450,000 for Cure Cancer. Their website has more information as well as information on how to donate.
