Call of Duty: Warzone Season 5 recently bought two new perks to Verdansk. Twitch streamer Symfuhny explained and effectively demonstrated why one of the said perks, Combat Scout, can make you feel that you’re cheating with wallhacks.
They say that because of the current state of Warzone following the new update Season 5 that “If you can’t ‘em, join ‘em.”
The new anti-cheat has yet to arrive but hackers are still around despite the current strict ban waves but the new perk in Warzone is making players feel like cheating as Combat Scout basically grants hack ESP (extrasensory perception).
The new perk, Combat Scout essential highlights players when you damage them and live pings. Mason Lanier AKA Symfuhny is known for his hacker accusations and according to him, this new perk makes it look like it needs a nerf instantly.
A clip was shown where he can see a team pushing him up the stairs and tries to know who’s there by wall-banging. The bullets break through the thin wood and it immediately shows some enemies. Symfuhny keeps on shooting through it and successfully downing his opponents. By the end of it, he has widstooda Stun Grenade that casually kiiled three of his enemies.
He himself was shockedby what he was now able to do because of the new perk and said that obviously, it was absolutely broken and that it is also absolutely OP.
He is known for routinely being accused of having hacks and to call on something “broken”: The new perk Combat Scout has a deadly potential and as for how it fits into the meta, it occupies the slot normally used by players.
Combat Scout basically takes the effect of a Snapshot Grenade that highlights the enemy’s live ping and through cover. As of the moment, it is still unclear and unknown how impactful it will be for casual players and as seen in the clip, it certainly looks like a dangerous OP in Symfuhny’s hands.
