By merging his love of DOOM with Blizzard’s hero shooter, an Overwatch streamer brought hell to King’s Row, and the outcome was plain spectacular.

In comparison to the M-rated blood-soaked spectacle that is the DOOM series, Overwatch is a more lighthearted game. However, Mick Gordon’s music is some of the best in the industry, and it can truly kindle a fire under some players… even giving them an edge.

Twitch streamer that goes by the name Voll, was doing just that as Baby D.Va, blasting Mick Gordon’s metal music while clicking heads. Given that both games are still shooters, as amusing as it may sound, it actually works quite well.

Voll, however, wanted to take things to the next level, so he put a DOOM overlay on his stream, which completely transformed it into the perfect blend of both games, and fans adored it.

Voll headed to the streets of King’s Row with his DOOM overlay on, ready to unleash hell, and that’s exactly what he did, ripping and tearing through enemies. Voll quickly got kills on both opposition tanks while the metal soundtrack blared, and he proceeded to easily conquer point A.

Surprisingly, the streamer’s dominant effort saw him steamroll his opponents, taking the payload all the way to the finish line with over four minutes still on the clock. For any attacking squad, this is quite an accomplishment.

He also used his Wholehog ultimate to take out a Nano Boosted Reaper along the way, completely slaughtering at every step. He shouted, “I’m f**king DOOMing! Oh my God, it’s broken. Is it even fair? It’s like drug-enhancing gaming. You can’t use this sh*t when you’re playing a game. It’s f**ked up.”

The intensity of the soundtrack clearly got Voll’s blood pounding, as many people in chat said they’d never seen him play so brilliantly before.
