Twitch streaming appears to be a fun and potentially profitable activity on the surface. Streaming on Twitch began as a way for gamers to share their gameplay with an audience, but it has since evolved into a way for people of all types and personalities from all walks of life to broadcast to a large audience of viewers. Unfortunately, in recent years, streaming has become quite dangerous. Many of the “pranks” that viewers have played on people who are broadcasting have crossed the line from harmless fun to life-threatening.

Beddle, a rising streamer, recently experienced one such dangerous occurrence. If you’re not already familiar with her work, you will likely be in the near future. Beddle has just over 19,000 Twitch followers and her streams typically receive at least a few thousand views in a short period of time. The South Korean streamer has begun to build a dedicated audience and carve out her own niche in the “Just Chatting” category, having previously gone viral thanks to a video of her father roasting her over her hopes of finding a boyfriend in 2022. Unfortunately for Beddle, not all of this newfound attention has been positive, as she recently detailed a terrifying encounter with a stalker.

Despite having a lower profile than some of Twitch’s bigger names, Beddle has been through some traumatic experiences in the past. A stalker sent her an alarming message while she was doing an online stream from her previous residence.

A viewer apparently used nearby street signs that could be seen in the stream to pinpoint Beddle’s exact location while drinking outside of her old house.

Despite her refusal to respond to the message, the stalker continued to describe how he had been able to track down other streamers’ locations, even going so far as to track how many steps it took to get down a flight of stairs to figure out which apartment they were staying in.

Since the stalking incident, Beddle has moved to a new home where she feels safer.
