After spending the previous few days streaming on his alternate channel, zackrawrr, Twitch streamer Asmongold has resumed streaming on his main Twitch channel.
Asmongold responded to claims made by a popular YouTuber that using specific contentious words would result in a Twitch ban. Asmongold employed a phrase containing each of the “banned” words to put this to the test.
Moon’s 27-minute video essay on Twitch, which provided a timeline of various contentious incidents involving the livestreaming platform, drew criticism from Asmongold. In the video titled Twitch Is Worse Than You Think, Moon emphasized one of the platform’s Terms of Service rules at the 11:39 minute mark.
Many players disagreed with the World of Warcraft player who claimed that the Terms of Service update had not yet taken effect. The streamer then used each of the forbidden words in the next sentence to try to prove his point.
Then, Asmongold was curious to find out if his Twitch channel would be blocked the following day. The co-founder of One True King used the occasion to joke sarcastically about stopping livestreaming to focus on the upcoming Path of Exile season.
The YouTube comment section had more than 150 viewers, and admirers were astounded by how quickly Zack was able to think of the clever remark.
One of the most popular content producers on Twitch at the moment is Asmongold. In 2016, he started doing live streams on the website. With more than 3.2 million followers, he is currently the sixth most well-liked English-speaking streamer, and his average viewership is 50k per stream.
