Amouranth, a Twitch streamer, disclosed that she has a husband on October 16th and described their marriage as being verbally, physically, and financially abusive.
According to the content creator, her husband forced her to stream for long periods of time and put pressure on her to appear unmarried. Amouranth argued on the phone with her alleged husband in a now-deleted broadcast, claiming him of threatening to kill her dogs. Even though her husband refuted these allegations, he became enraged and charged Amouranth with lying. Even though Amouranth intended to declare her marriage much earlier, her husband pushed her to look single. After the call ended, she confirmed that this was her husband.
Amouranth stated; “I’ve been wanting to tell people. Let’s stream together, just tell them that we’re fucking married. Our relationship would be better. We wouldn’t be fighting all the time. But no, ‘don’t say that because it’s going to ruin the business model, it isn’t time yet.’ Go fuck yourself. I’m done with it.”
Amouranth further alleged that if she ever tried to exit the relationship, her husband would threaten to bankrupt her. The streamer has disclosed that she owns stakes in multiple other assets and can earn up to $1.1 million each month from OnlyFans alone.
Amouranth asserted that her husband, who is reported to be in charge of all of the couple’s financial accounts, promised to leave her with only $1 million and keep the majority of her income. Amouranth, a 28-year-old streamer, claims that after going to couple’s therapy, her husband did calm down to some extent, but that after Twitch’s “hot tub meta,” his abuse resumed. Amouranth claims that she only “committed to the grind” because her husband painted it as a “financial opportunity” for the couple, which effectively undid much of the progress they had made in therapy.
Later in the video, Amouranth displayed text exchanges with her husband, in which he was shown verbally berating his wife, threatening to burn up to $750,000 in her possession, and other things. Amouranth showed her viewers around her house and pointed out a break in the wall that was allegedly caused by her husband hurling her phone at her.
Amouranth received a call from an unidentified person inquiring if she had taken her medication before the stream came to an end. Following the troubling stream, Amouranth did not identify the source of the voice and has not commented on the circumstances surrounding her.
