After receiving repeated ban warnings from Twitch, Adin Ross has declared he would move his stream to a new site.
One of the most well-known figures on Twitch is Adin Ross. His rise to stardom occurred mostly on the Purple brand. He is known for his outrageous demeanor and for working with some of the other top streamers on the platform. Ross has now indicated that he will continue to stream on the site for the time being, but will also broadcast over on Kick, where he believes the community guidelines will provide him more flexibility. This comes after reports of being silenced by an unknown Twitch employee.
Ross expressed his dissatisfaction with the way Twitch’s Terms of Service controlled his content when discussing the move to Kick. He said; “I’m going to Kick this week. I’m going to be doing Omegle, watching live sports, watching movies, prank phone calls, we could literally watch p**n together. There is no Terms of Service over there. You guys can say whatever you want in my chat. Nobody can get f***ing banned.”
Ross persisted in encouraging his supporters to express whatever they felt in the new setting while repeatedly highlighting the apparently increased freedom he would enjoy. Although the streaming celebrity thinks the company’s overall engagement may not be as tight as his initial streaming home, Kick does have a Terms of Service agreement.
Ross said in his original video outlining how he was “silenced” that he was startled and inspired to explore for other choices by a call from an unknown Twitch employee.
He said; “I got a threat, and the first thing I did was laugh at that…they’re basically saying I can’t preach what I want to preach without being suspended.”
Ross’ first Kick stream went live on February 12 and at the time of writing had 82,000 viewers.
