After being recently delayed, Adin Ross has now stated that his scheduled Twitch stream with Kanye West would not go forward.

Adin Ross has collaborated with many huge names in the entertainment industry on his Twitch streams over the past few months, including a ton of well-known rappers and musicians. He had planned to take things to the next level by having Kanye West join him on his stream for a conversation around the beginning of December, but that was postponed and was expected to happen later.

After a series of strange outbursts on social media and in interviews, West, who has recently been under fire for “hate speech” directed towards the Jewish community, has had a number of businesses cut connections with him, including Adidas, the company that makes the well-known Yeezy apparel line. That said, he won’t be continuing that on Adin’s Twitch live as the streaming celebrity has revealed that Ye’s much anticipated presence has been postponed.

Adin declared in his broadcast on December 12; “I can’t have my platform be used to spread hate. I can’t have my platform be used to insult people and hurt people and hurt everyone, so I decided not to go through with the stream. I see people putting L’s in my chat, that’s cool, L Adin, you’re p**sy, I understand. I mean, I don’t understand, I really don’t. I’m going to keep it short and sweet and simple. Yes, I know it would be my biggest stream ever, but sometimes it’s not worth it.”

Given how many brands have already severed relations with West as a result of his recent statements, several fans have hypothesized that the stream was probably canceled under pressure from Adin’s partners. It would have been his biggest stream to date, if not ever, and probably would have challenged some of the old Twitch viewing records, as Adin points out.
