NiceWigg uses an ASUS VG248QG 24″ monitor. The ASUS VG248QG is TFT LCD gaming monitor that can refresh at a maximum of 165Hz at a response time of 0.5ms (grey-to-grey). Its maximum brightness is 350 cd/m², while its pixel pitch is 0.276 x 0.276mm and its dynamic contrast ratio is 100M:1.

It also offers a range of useful gaming technologies, such as GamePlus that provide in-game enhancements such as a timer, crosshair indicator, and KD overlay counter, and its GameVisual technology with seven preset display modes that can be switched between for different games and use-cases. Then, there are multiple other features, including its G-Sync and FreeSync compatibilities, which both help to prevent screen tearing and stuttering, as well as the Extreme Low Blue Light filter which helps against eye strain, among others.

Its base also allows for a lot of adjustabilities, such as the possibility to disconnect it for VESA wall-mounting purposes. Its other adjustment options are the potential to tilt is between -5˚~33˚, swivel it between -90˚ ~90˚, pivot it between -90˚ ~90˚ and adjusting its height up to 13cm. WHAT MOUSE DOES NICEWIGG USE?

Logitech G Pro wireless gaming mouse

NiceWigg uses a Logitech G Pro wireless gaming mouse. NiceWigg’s gaming setup features the ever-popular Logitech G Pro wireless mouse that appears in the setups of many other prominent streamers, such as Sleepy, Diegosaurs and Danucd. While the older version features a Hero 16K sensor, the newer models are fitted with the Hero 25K optical sensor. This means that it now offers a range of 100 – 25,600 DPI. It can also store up to six DPI profiles onboard which can each be set in increments of 50. Furthermore, it has a maximum tracking speed of 400 IPS, as well as a toggleable report rate of 125Hz, 250Hz, 500Hz, and 1,000Hz that can be set directly on the device.

As for its construction, it has a truly ambidextrous design, not only in terms of its shape but also in its button placement. Aside from its four-set buttons, two additional buttons can also be added to both or either side of the mouse, for up to eight total programable buttons. WHAT CONTROLLER DOES NICEWIGG USE?

SCUF Impact

NiceWigg uses a SCUF Impact controller. The SCUF Impact controller is designed for PC and PlayStation 4 use and is available either with or without grip. It has a soft-touch shell on this front to help prevent fatigue. It comes with four removable back paddles, which NiceWigg takes advantage of. It also has adjustable hair triggers, removable trigger covers and extenders, and quick shift trigger stops. It also has digital triggers that improve reaction time by removing input delays of a standard trigger, as well as a digital tap bumper that adds a micro-switch to both bumpers to further improve response time. The thumbsticks can also be swapped out for other purchasable thumbsticks.

WHAT HEADSET DOES NICEWIGG USE?

Logitech G935 Wireless headset

NiceWigg uses a Logitech G935 headset. NiceWigg’s gaming setup includes the wireless version of the Logitech G935. This version’s ear cups are fitted with 50mm Pro-G woven hybrid mesh drivers that provide a frequency response range of 20 – 20,000Hz, at a nominal impedance of 39Ω and a sensitivity of 93dB. Its range is 15m (49.2ft) indoors and 20m (65.6ft) indoors. It includes 3-zone LIGHTSYNC RGB lighting that impacts the battery life, as the device can last up to 12 hours with the lighting off and only up to 8 hours with it on.

Furthermore, they have a closed-backed that creates a DTS:X 7.1 Surround Sound experience. This can be enhanced to DTS Headphone:X 2.0 Surround feature through the Logitech G Hub software, but this feature is only compatible with Windows 7 (64-bit) and later as well the latest macOS and not consoles. The regular stereo effect does work on a variety of consoles when plugged in, though. The exception is the PS4 that can also register it wirelessly, in addition to PCs.

Both the earcups and headband are cushioned with leatherette padding. But the headband is built around a flexible steel slider with a plastic casing to add durability and adjustability. The earcups can also be rotated flat for storage purposes for comfort when place around your neck.

In addition to the regular mic and volume controls, there are also three programable G-buttons that can be set through the software. The G1 and G3 buttons are pre-programmed by default to cycle through lighting and equalizer profiles. It also features a flip-to-mute microphone with a unidirectional polar pattern and a 100 – 10,000Hz frequency response range. It weighs 13.4 oz (379 g) and has dimensions of 18.8 x 19.5 x 8.7cm (7.4 x 7.67 x 3.34″.)

WHAT MICROPHONE DOES NICEWIGG USE?

Shure SM7B microphone

NiceWigg uses a Shure SM7B microphone. The Shure SM7B is a large-diaphragm dynamic microphone. It has a unidirectional polar patter that operates on an end address to provide a noise-canceling effect. It has a sturdy construction, as it is made from enamel aluminum with a steel case to protect its cartridge.

It offers a flat, wide-range frequency response with a range of 50 – 20,000Hz, a nominal impedance of 150Ω and has a sensitivity of -59 dBV/Pa. Furthermore, there are two switches at its base to further aid the input quality. These comprise of a presence boost button that turns off the presence boost to produce a flat-response curve, while the other is a high press-filter.

Additionally, it also has an internal shock mount to protect recordings against bump disruptions and an internal pop-filter to prevent interference from plosive sounds. It also comes with a foam windscreen, switch cover and locking yoke mount. However, it does not include an XLR cable, and you will also need an audio interface device. The Shure SM7B does not require phantom power.

WHAT WEBCAM DOES NICEWIGG USE?

Sony A6400

NiceWigg uses a Sony Alpha a6400 camera. The Sony a6400 is an entry-level professional mirrorless camera that features an Exmor CMOS, ACPS-C type sensor. This sensor offers a maximum resolution of 1920 x 180 @ 60p, with several other resolution options as well. Additionally, it has a 24.2MP count and an ISO range of 100 – 32,000 that can be expanded to 102,400 with a Sony E-mount compatible lens.

It is designed with both video recording and image capture in mind, and so has integrated eye-detection real-time autofocus with 425 phase-detection points to minimize blurring during video recordings. It is capable of up to 125 minutes of continuous shooting with a battery, but it can be extended by being connected with an external power source.

It also has a microphone input port and mount, thereby allowing for an external microphone to be mounted directly on the camera itself. The flip-LCD screen is useful for content creators who want to record commentaries while on-the-go. All recordings can be directly transferred to mobile devices with either Bluetooth 4.0 or Wi-Fi for social media sharing.

WHAT MIXER DOES NICEWIGG USE?

TC-Helicon GoXLR mixer

NiceWigg uses a TC Helicon GoXLR mixer. The GoXLR is another popular piece of equipment among content creators, and can also be found in the setups of Muselk, Sommerset and Trihex, to name a few. It is designed for solo inputs, with an input port for one XLR cable or a TS/TRSTRRS jack, as well as one headset. It is capable of providing +48V of phantom power that can be turned off with the press of a button. It also has a controller slot.

Its left side has four channel sliders and mute buttons for Mic, Chat, Music, and System input. The right side is then divided into three sections. The top provides various pre-set effects options, as well as six other buttons that can be customized through its software. Then, the bottom portion is split into a sample section that can be set with prerecording sounds for on-the-fly live effects, as well as a temporary damage control section for mic mute and bleep outs.
