Jeremy Wang, a Canadian Twitch streamer best known by his screen name Disguised Toast, used his stream to discuss the current standings of a few OfflineTV members.
For those who are not know, OfflineTV (OTV) is a content-creating and entertainment company that was founded by William “Scarra” and Imane “Pokimane.” One of the first few individuals to join the organization in 2017 was Disguised Toast. They have succeeded in becoming one of the largest content-related organizations in North America since their founding. Jeremy made the caustic observation that the current members have grown “too famous” when referring to them. He declared: “Everyone got too famous.”
The members of OfflineTV were described in a fairly sarcastic manner by Disguised Toast. For context, the debate started after one of the co-founders, Scarra, allegedly disregarded Jeremy and LilyPichu’s messages (the latter two were in a Discord call). Scarra was indeed streaming at the moment. Jeremy said with a smile: “Damn, I’m sad Scarra lost, but I’m happy Scarra lost, you know what I mean? He’s gonna be in a bad mood, he’s gonna be like, ‘No, I don’t wanna play.’ If he came first, our chances are higher. Look, he’s purposely ignoring your (LilyPichu) messages. And you know he reads chat all the time. He’s gonna find match and then it’s like, ‘Oh, sorry, I missed your message.'”
In light of the talk, Disguised Toast added that their group’s (OfflineTV’s) biggest issue is that many of them have achieved fame. He stated: “See, this is the problem with our friends’ group. Everyone got too famous. Everyone has their own thing going on. Even though when people were like just listening to me, everything was fine, but everyone had to go like, and be independent and make their own plans.”
The two eventually got a response from Scarra. Finally, he stated: “Scarra is called good old reliable.”
LilyPichu had nothing but appreciation for Scarra: “Scarra’s a real one. Don’t anyone else tell you, no, Scarra, that he’s not a real one cause Scarra’s a real one.”
