On the Storm Point map, an Apex Legends player encountered a bug that sent them straight through the bottom of the map and to their death.
Fans of Apex Legends have been exploring new updates as well as the new character, Newcastle, as Season 13 continues to unfold. Storm Point has undergone some significant changes, including a massive Downed Beast carcass in the middle of the map that players can battle inside.
Although the map changes are exciting, one player experienced an unintended glitch on the map that resulted in their match being terminated immediately.
On May 24, Reddit user Chieres posted a video that quickly rose to the top of the Apex Legends subreddit.
Chieres, who was playing Seer on Storm Point, was seen gliding directly through the ground, then under the map, before descending to their death. Chieres didn’t even get a chance to finish the game because a specific spot on the map was apparently bugged, allowing them to grind their way to an untimely death.
Since it was posted, the video has received over 8,000 upvotes and 300 comments.

One player discovered a way to go beneath the Olympus map, indicating that this bug is more common than previously thought.
