Twitch star Jaryd ‘Summit1g‘ Lazar was left speechless during his Sea of Thieves game when a player’s very private moment was picked up over a hot mic.
Summit1g is well-known for his streams in which he sails the seas of Sea of Thieves and has amassed a large following, with thousands tuning in to watch his pirate exploits, he is a funny guy, but his April 4th stream was a disaster thanks to someone in his group who, for whatever reason, forgot to mute their microphone.
Summit1g and everyone else in his game quickly drew their attention to the awkward audio, so the embarrassing moment didn’t go unnoticed. He and his companions began hearing strange noises coming from someone’s in-game microphone as they set out on their journey.
It didn’t take long for players to figure out that the sound was caused by someone forgetting to mute their microphone while using the restroom.
Meanwhile, Summit1g struggled to keep his emotions in check, trying not to laugh or show any emotion. The whole situation was extremely awkward for everyone, and it’s unclear whether the player who broke the seal was even aware that his microphone was turned on.
Of course, there are plenty of other embarrassing things that can happen on stream, but hopefully, this serves as a reminder to all gamers to turn off their microphones before going to the bathroom.
