Jordan Cheyenne’s YouTube channel appears to have been recently taken down after she was criticized for using a clip of her crying son as a video thumbnail. She’s a YouTube vlogger who used to have over 500,000 subscribers and used to post videos about her family and fitness.
She faced backlash after she accidentally uploaded an unedited clip in a vlog titled “We are heartbroken” that showed her and her son crying after a puppy they planned to adopt became ill. Cheyenne begins instructing her son on how he is supposed to pose for the thumbnail at the end of the video, telling him to act like he’s crying, to which her son responds that he is indeed crying.
The video went viral quickly on social media, with people slamming the mother and calling her actions “disgusting.”
She responded with a video apology, saying it was disgusting of her and that she should not have done that at all adding that she re-watched it and told everyone that they are completely right.
She also stated that she would no longer include her son in her future YouTube content and that she would be “completely withdrawing from social media.”
Many people noticed on September 12 that Cheyenne’s channel was no longer available. When you click on any of the channel’s links, you’ll get a message from YouTube that says either “this channel doesn’t exist” or “this page isn’t available.”
This would indicate that she has deleted her channel, though it is unclear whether this is a temporary or permanent decision. The vlogger’s Twitter account is still active, though she hasn’t commented on why her channel was removed.
It’s unclear what this means for her content in the future, and many people are curious whether she’ll resume vlogging or abandon it entirely.
