Stream sniping is nothing new to bigger streamers like xQc, but this one caught him off guard. During a recent CS:GO stream, he started to call someone out for being a stream sniper, but then went silent.
He was completely taken aback when he scrolled through the player’s profile and discovered it was a shrine to Pokimane, and he scrolled helplessly through the profile with an equally perplexed audience.
As a CS:GO match began, xQc spoke with someone in the lobby who was openly stream sniping him, in his opinion. Everything seemed normal until the streamer opened the Steam profile of the person with whom he was conversing.
xQc then fell silent for a few moments before scrolling through the player’s Steam profile with a surprised expression on his face. The Pokimane-themed profile included an image claiming that the person behind it is a tier-3 Pokimane sub who has received over $1,000 in donations to her streams.
As the streamer progressed, it revealed a Pokimane group with over 1,000 members, as well as several Poki GIFs and images. It even featured a photo of Pokimane’s chair with the caption “GOD IM THIRSTY.”
xQc watched in horror as he got to the end and saw the Steam user’s favorite guide was the I adore pokimane” guide; the streamer remained silent for the rest of the clip as he examined the Pokimane-obsessed player’s details.
Felix also checked the person’s previous usernames, which almost all included Poki in some way. He and his teammates laughed about the profile as well, with one of the streamer’s teammates admitting that putting it together must have taken a lot of time.
The Twitch streamer also left a comment on the stream sniper’s Steam page, offering Pokimane a little meme and message if she happens to come across the profile.
People made fun of Pokimane-obsessed viewers and Pokimane simps in the LivestreamFail subReddit thread. Some people laughed at the amount donated being boasted about, while others pointed out that it wasn’t a particularly large sum and depended on how long the viewer had been a Poki fan. Others simply wondered if this viewer was a true Pokimane fan and dropped memes. They joked about it being unclear whether they were fans or not, and found the whole situation hilarious.
A Redditor also speculated that at least one xQc fan has a similar, obsessive profile, and that if there wasn’t one before, there will be after this clip. One user said the stream sniper claimed it was a bet they lost, but another said it smelled like mental illness.
That didn’t seem likely, given how many Poki-themed usernames the person had.
Whatever the reason, it resulted in a hilarious moment in which even xQc was stunned into silence. The streamer is used to responding to everything, but what he saw of this Pokimane-obsessed stream sniper caught him completely off guard.
