Twitch star Felix ‘xQc‘ Lengyel was taken aback when he noticed a viewer reacting to a YouTube video wearing a shirt with one of his chat emotes on it.
At this point, xQc is without a doubt one of Twitch’s most popular streamers. The former Overwatch pro has a worldwide following of nearly 11 million followers, his fans have even tried to prank him, such as when they convinced a Fox News reporter to send the 26-year-old creator a high school graduation message.
Now, the unwitting streaming sensation has spotted one of his fans in a YouTube video he was reacting to, and he’s completely taken aback.
The popular streamer began reacting to videos during his June 5 stream. However, he noticed something odd about one of the participants in a video from Jubilee, a channel he watches on stream on a regular basis.
Lengyel noticed that one of the participants, Dimitri, was wearing a shirt with an oddly familiar design after watching the beginning of the video. When xQc looked closer, he noticed his Twitch emote xqcA on the shirt.
Later in the video, Dimitri began talking about juice several times, most likely in reference to xQc’s nickname “the juicer” among his fans. He was clearly taken aback and didn’t expect to see one of his fans in the YouTube video he was watching.
It’s not unreasonable to believe that more viewers will follow suit in order to catch the streaming star’s attention.
