VTuber and Twitch streamer Veibae recently received her first Twitch ban after an April 17th stream. The VShojo partner, who is known for her variety streams, has amassed over 800,000 Twitch followers by producing high-quality content that viewers enjoy. However, in Veibae’s live stream today, those content-creating abilities may have gotten her into trouble.

According to fans, Veibae received her first Twitch ban after reacting to a YouTube video titled “Midwest FurFest.” Apparently, while watching a video about a furry convention, explicit content appeared on the screen for a few seconds, prompting the Twitch star’s suspension.

The VTuber herself hinted at this theory in a tweet posted an hour after her suspension, in which she claimed she was suspended for “showing something dumb” on stream. Veibae also revealed that she’ll be streaming again in just 24 hours, much to the delight of her fans.

Veibae also took advantage of the extra publicity by promoting new merchandise, which was released on the same day as her suspension.

According to TwitchTracker, the VTuber personality has seen a significant increase in viewership in recent months.

This surge in popularity is undoubtedly due to her close friendship with veteran streamer Sodapoppin, who, coincidentally, has also been suspended from Amazon’s platform. However, in his case, the suspension is for an indefinite period of time.
