The STG44 remains one of Warzone‘s most dominant Assault Rifles, and pro CoD player Faze Swagg has demonstrated the ideal loadout for tackling Caldera.
The STG44 has emerged as the meta Assault Rifle that is dominating Caldera since CoD Vanguard was integrated into Warzone. The new Cooper Carbine, as well as a few old favorites, have given it a run for its money, but the WWII rifle still reigns supreme.
Caldera has received mixed reviews from the community, but there’s no denying that the vintage Vanguard weapons appear to be a good fit for the new map at the moment.
It can be difficult to find the right setup that fits the game in its current state after so many Warzone updates, nerfs, and buffs. Thankfully, CoD pro-Swagg has demonstrated the ideal STG44 loadout, which simulates the use of a “aimbot.”
Swagg explains his ideal STG44 setup in his latest video, which will help you win in Caldera. Swagg said in the video, “Since the update, no recoil, this thing is a legit laser beam.”
The Recoil Booster is the first item in the loadout, and it boosts the fire rate at the expense of accuracy. But don’t worry, we’ll make up for it with other attachments.
Swagg chooses VDD 760mm 05B barrels for his rifle. This not only improves overall accuracy, but it also gives you more range for those long shots.
Then, when firing, he used the VDD 34S Weighted stock and M1941 Hand Stop underbarrel to claw back some recoil control and stability. The STG44’s Polymer Grip also aids in this regard, making it a mid-range threat.
Optics are often a matter of personal taste, but Swagg has chosen a G16 2.5x scope for this loadout. While it aids in long-range accuracy, it does not limit visibility or mobility like a full-fledged sniper scope.
The 7.62 Gorenko 50 Round Mags keep you locked and loaded for longer fights, and the Fully Loaded Perk eliminates the need to scavenge for more ammo. Finally, Swagg makes use of Focus to keep the gun on target even when you’re firing.
