Austin Pamajewo, commonly known as Pamaj, a Twitch and Kick streamer, just made a significant news by announcing his separation from the FaZe Clan, a group he initially joined in 2012 and rejoined in 2018.
On June 14, the streamer posted information on his 3.2 million-subscriber YouTube channel. The streamer worked for the company as a video producer before he left. Given his lengthy relationship with the squad, he claimed that making the decision was not simple. Additionally, he made a suggestion that since his initial membership, the dynamics and environment within the organization had changed. He declared: “It’s not as easy as it looks. I gotta be honest with you, it never is. I don’t want to fan the flame or give in to whatever has been happening with the clan and the team as a whole, as you guys have seen.”
Recently, FaZe Clan has been going through some upheaval. One of its members, FaZe Rain, publicly criticized the management on his YouTube channel and even revealed the clan’s financial information, which showed a sizable deficit. In addition, a disagreement has developed between FaZe Rain and Grace Van Dien, a fresh addition to the FaZe Clan who switched from acting to streaming. In the midst of all the drama, Pamaj paused to think and presented his ideas, saying: “I want to say thanks for the opportunity to join back. They’ve given me a home but this is not the same team when I first joined. It doesn’t feel the same. This decision, I’m really just choosing me. I’ve been quite unhappy with myself, with sort of my surroundings and it’s kind of just where life has taken me I guess.”
Pamaj expressed his conviction in the team’s potential and sent his best wishes to everyone involved, wishing for their future success but conceding that the company hasn’t been its previous self. He also gave thanks to some of the clan’s founding members, including FaZe Temperrr, FaZe Banks, FaZe Rain, and FaZe Apex.
