Twitch streamer Squeex recently experienced exactly that after learning that his date was a CSGO player.
A great way to establish a connection and learn more about your date is to have a partner who enjoys video games. However, given their intensity, some games, such as CSGO, can be a little bit problematic.
Squeex talked about how he met a girl on Tinder who was an avid Counter-Strike player during a stream he did in August while attempting speedruns on Super Mario 64, and discovered that despite enjoying the game, she was a significant liability as a teammate after adding each other on Steam and starting to play CSGO together. He explained to his viewers why his date wasn’t the CSGO enthusiast she claimed to be.
The streamer joked that this made him rethink the idea of having children with someone so “fiscally irresponsible” in-game because his match would buy P-90 on a save round while hiding behind double doors.
She, however, ended their relationship instead of him, despite his having second thoughts about it and appearing to be prepared to do so. At least something good came out of their relationship because Squeex’s hilarious story gained over 150,000 views after going viral on Twitch.
