Fortnite is one of the most competitive video games available. The Road to Twitchcon tournament, which will take place over the next four months, will feature a $400,000 prize pool thanks to a partnership between Fortnite and Twitch Rivals.
Content Creators from all over the world will compete against one another in the Zero Build match in a new competition every month until October. Each of these competitions will offer a $50,000 prize, and the winners will also receive an invitation to the Twitch Rivals state, which will take place during Twitchcon San Diego the first week of October.
A portion of the $200,000 prize pool will be up for grabs for players who make it to San Diego. Along with the prize money, the captain of the winning team will get to pick which Locker Bundle will be sold in Fortnite’s item shop. If players want to see their favorite creators participate in the competition, they are encouraged to get in touch with Twitch Rivals on Twitter or Discord in that order.
On June 11, Chapter Three of season three began, marking the beginning of the first Road to Twitchcon series. Europe’s Team Nikof, North America’s Team Tfue, and Latin America’s Team zEKO are among the teams that will be attending Twitchcon from round one.
The teams for the upcoming competition will be chosen on July 27, which is exactly one month from now. All of this is preparing the Fortnite Zero Build Twitch Rivals champion team for the final match at Twitchcon on October 7.
