Talon Esports, a Hong Kong-based esports organization, has announced a partnership with SteelSeries, a gaming peripheral company.
SteelSeries will become the official gaming peripherals partner of the organization’s League of Legends team as a result of the agreement.
SteelSeries will provide PSG Talon with a variety of peripherals, including headsets and computer mice, as part of the deal. In addition, players will be involved in product testing for the company.
PSG Talon is a League of Legends team formed by a partnership between Talon Esports and PSG Esports, the French football club’s esports arm. PSG Talon competes in the Pacific Championship Series, Southeast Asia’s top League of Legends league.
SteelSeries joins PSG Esports as their seventh partner. It joins the team as a partner alongside streaming platform Twitch and gaming chair manufacturer noblechairs.
Partnerships on the periphery are nothing out of the ordinary. Securing an exclusive deal with PSG Talon is yet another impressive addition to SteelSeries’ ever-growing portfolio. Aside from providing equipment to players, it will be interesting to see how the two parties differentiate themselves through their activations.
