Pokimane is a Twitch streamer who is one of the most popular females, because of her enormous popularity in the community, some of her fans dubbed her the ‘Queen of Twitch.’
She is also known for her vlogs and other YouTube content, in addition to Twitch. Several fans praised Pokimane and JiDion’s collaboration video, as well as the fact that their feud ended on a happy note.
Pokimane was recently honored with the Legacy Award at The Streamer Awards 2022. Most fans expected her to win the award due to her enormous popularity in the community. Pokimane admitted that she was not optimistic about winning the Legacy Award and that she was rooting for Sodapoppin.
In Hollywood, California, the first-ever Streamer Awards were held. The Streamer Awards allow fans to vote for their favorite performers in over 25 categories, each with four nominees. Pokimane took home the Legacy Award this year, which was given to the winner of all 25 categories. There were three other nominees besides Pokimane. Sodapoppin, Scarra, Pokimane, and Summit1g were the nominees.
Pokimane showed a clip from one of her streams where she didn’t use her vote for herself in the video. Furthermore, Queen of Twitch stated that she has always supported Sodapoppin.
Pokimane was also nominated for the Valorant category in addition to the Legacy Award. Pokimane mentioned at the end of the video that she broke the trophy by accident. She assures her fans, however, that she will super-glue it back together. Pokimane and her friends cried because of her beautiful journey montage, she said.
