Ed Sheeran’s performance will include several songs from his new album, which will be released on October 29, 2021, according to the official Pokemon GO blog. Some of his most well-known songs have also been confirmed to be included in the show:

Ed Sheeran frequently uses water-type Pokemon in the game, according to the blog post. As a result, the collaboration will also include an event featuring all of the game’s water-type Pokemon. Water-type Pokemon like Totodile, Mudkip, Piplup, and Oshawott may be encountered frequently during the event.
Trainers will also have a lower chance of encountering Pokemon like Squirtle and Froakie, who wear sunglasses. During the event, a special version of Squirtle will be added as part of the Field Research tasks.
Finally, a one-time free Event Box will be available in the shop, containing a Lure Module, 20 Pokéballs, 10 Razz Berries, and 10 Pinap Berries. More information about the free rewards and the overall collaboration with Ed Sheeran can be found in the full blog. In-game news notifications are expected to provide additional information to players.
