Twitch star NICKMERCS recently explained why Halo Infinite was a “flop” because it lacked a battle royale mode, despite the fact that the game’s player base has shrunk dramatically since launch
NICKMERCS of FaZe was concerned about Halo Infinite long before it was released.
He predicted that without a Battle Royale mode, the 343 Industries shooter wouldn’t be relevant for long, and it appears that he was correct.
Nick has now detailed how the Halo developer’s failure to “adapt” resulted in an ever-shrinking community of players.
The 31-year-old streamer explained why he was disappointed with the most recent Halo game.
The game’s player count has been steadily decreasing since its November 15 launch. According to Steam Charts, Halo Infinite’s average player count has dropped below 10,000 for the first time ever.
343 has yet to confirm whether or not a BR mode will be included in Halo Infinite, but NICKMERCS certainly hopes so.
