Netflix has announced Tudum, a virtual global fan event. “TUDUM is the first beat you hear when you watch a show or movie on Netflix,” the company explains of the event’s name.
On September 25, at 9:30 p.m. IST, Netflix will host a Tudum fan event, which will be streamed on all of Netflix’s official YouTube channels, as well as Twitch and Twitter. There will also be special pre-shows at 5:30 p.m. that will focus on Korean and Indian content as well as anime. These will be available on Netflix Korea, Netflix India, and Netflix Anime, among other Netflix channels.
The three-hour Tudum event will include first looks, trailers, exclusive clips, and interactive panels with creators and stars from more than 70 Netflix films and series. Netflix has provided a list of shows and films that will be featured during the event.
Fans and content creators have also been invited to co-stream the Tudum event live on their YouTube, Twitch, or Facebook channels. The music and content from the event has been cleared for global use as a co-stream for three months, according to the company. Streamers should, however, turn off Tudum’s Highlights, Clips, and Past Broadcasts/VOD on Twitch. Content creators who are interested in co-streaming can sign up here.
